The Day of My Competition at Muscle gate🤗🌸
Stepping on stage at the Muscle Gate Competition was a mix of emotions—excitement, nervousness, and deep reflection. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting good results. Why? Because you can’t expect results from the work you didn’t do.
Looking back at my journey this past year:
I didn’t follow proper training consistently.
My nutrition was far from ideal in April and May. I only started managing it seriously in August, September, and October.
I wasn’t even sure there would be any competitions this year. The decision to compete came just three months before the event, and my condition could have been much better.
Posing practice was not my priority, as work took center stage.
I’ve beaten myself up over these things over and over again. But I also know that these are not reasons—they are excuses. The truth is:
👉 I could have stayed in good shape all year if I wanted to.
👉 I could have trained at home if I wanted to.
👉 I could have prioritized my posing if I wanted to.
And yet, I didn’t. That’s on me, and it’s something I will work on next time.
The Reality of Fat Loss & Muscle Building
Losing fat and building muscle isn’t something that happens overnight. Fat loss is a long process—it takes way longer than a week. You need to be consistent and patient.
Over the years, I lost some muscle mass instead of gaining it—partly due to rapid fat loss and partly due to ineffective training on my side. If I want to be better, I need to own that fact and adjust.
But Here's What I DID Achieve
Despite all of this, I am incredibly proud of my accomplishments outside of the competition:
✅ I launched my own company during an economic crisis 🚀
✅ I secured my business visa for Japan 😎
✅ I’ve helped over 15 clients achieve their fitness goals through 1-on-1 coaching 🥰
✅ I lost 11 kg in 3 months and stepped on stage—despite all the obstacles!
What’s Next?
This competition was a wake-up call for me. It reminded me that while I’ve made progress in many areas, there’s still so much I can do to improve.
I’ll be working harder to stay in peak shape year-round, improve my posing, and optimize my training and nutrition—not just for a competition but for myself.
For those of you on your own fitness journeys, remember this:
💡 It’s okay to acknowledge where you went wrong.
💡 But don’t let excuses hold you back.
💡 You always have the power to do better, to improve, and to achieve your goals.
And I’ll be doing just that.
